Covid-19 Guides

As part of SidePorch’s response to Covid-19, we are developing a series of guiding documents to help the public and private sector communities navigate the process of returning to the workplace. We will regularly add new documents to this page and will update existing guides as the research evolves.

Getting Back to the Workplace

As public officials continue to protect the public’s health and restart the economy, companies and organizations are actively preparing to open their doors to employees and those they serve. SidePorch is designing ethical and responsible approaches for the transition back into the workplace, while actively scaling the reach and impact of COVID-19 response organizations.

To assist with this process, we created a list of questions business leaders should consider when building an ethical, medically-sound process for getting back to work.

Testing 101

SidePorch is supporting organizations seeking to design and implement ethical and responsible approaches for the transition back into the workplace.  Successful policies and practices will require the development of a culture that values the health of its community, establishes trust with employees, and provides employees with appropriate knowledge and resources.

Testing is going to be an essential part of managing the risk posed by Covid-19.  As part of their planning, leaders must consider implementing a testing plan before allowing employees and others to return and continue to work safely at the workplace. These testing plans will need to continue on a periodic basis for the foreseeable future.

To help organizations prepare, we created a Testing 101 guide.
